Amazing Sticky Fingers

I don't know how many of you know this, but Ammon can COOK. I can follow a recipe, but Ammon actually enjoys cooking. How did I get so lucky? :)

So he decided to bring Wingers to our house tonight. We found the recipe for sticky fingers at http://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/2009/01/just-like-wingers-sticky-fingers-and.html, and he went all out on the rest of the meal, even down to the bowl of popcorn to munch on while we worked in the kitchen.

For the sauce:
**Covers about 8 sticky fingers
3 Tbsp. Franks Hot Sauce
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. water
(Ammon added 1 tsp salt, which, according to him, "made it go from tasting 97% like Wingers, to tasting 100% like Wingers. So there you go.)

Heat up hot sauce, brown sugar and water in a saucepot until all the sugar dissolves.

For the Sticky Fingers:
1 c. oil
1 pkg. frozen breaded chicken fingers

In a frying pan, heat oil and cook chicken fingers until crispy and warm. Bring the sauce to a rolling boil, and put the chicken in the pot to thoroughly coat it. Serve with ranch, celery sticks, steak fries, and of course, your favorite beverage (I like strawberry lemonade, Ammon likes good 'ol root beer).

And what Winger's meal would be complete without a little Asphalt Pie? This was our own recipe, and it turned out pretty good: Oreo crust, mint ice-cream, whipped cream, and caramel. Yum!
