½ cup + 2 Tbsp cocoa
1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Melt shortening, just barely so as not to be too hot. Add cocoa and sugar, then mix. Add eggs – beat well. Add dry ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 about 28 minutes.
